Ghost Chairs at home

Filling in for me today is Joanne from Arcadian Lighting talking about one of my favorite chairs. Take it away Joanna!

Hi there! I’m Joanna, a guest blogger for Arcadian Lighting, a terrific online source for an array of dazzling lighting fixtures, including pendant lights and ceiling lights, in addition to lighting inspirations. If you love interior design and decorating as much as I do, you might just be a little envious of my job. I get to spend my days searching the web for the most beautiful design images and ideas. Created by master furniture designer and artist Philippe Starck, the ghost chair is attractive, durable, stackable and made for indoor/outdoor use. They were trending hot for awhile, so if you’ve seen one too many of these chairs in the past couple years, you’re not alone. But the following just might re-ignite your interest in these ghostly beauties. 

Philippe Starck's Louis ghost chairs looks stunning fitted with dainty cushions. I love the contrast between the wood table and the chairs surrounding it. 

A vintage desk and chair get their own modern update with a ghost chair pulled alongside them. It really looks like a shimmery ghost, doesn't it? 

A pristine white space is the perfect setting for a grouping of ghost chairs at an unfinished table. 

This dramatic little dining nook in black and white accentuates the lines of the ghost chairs. The faux light fixture adds a whimsical touch. 

A glass table and crystal chandelier make nice companions for a group of six ghost chairs. Love the white settee in the back of the room! 

Back and seat cushions on these ghost chairs look as if they’re floating. The light streaming in from the big windows highlights the chairs beautifully.
