Trend Forecasting with Graham & Brown ~ Horizon
We learn a lot about design from nature. Color, texture, pattern. Take a look around your home. How many pieces do you own that are inspired by nature? A sisal rug? Wicker basket, or driftwood mirror?
As a Brand Ambassador of Graham & Brown, I get to talk about one of my favorite subjects every month; trends. This months featured trend is Horizon.
“Horizon is the fluid movement of design, the sense that something special is about to happen; forecasting your hopes and dreams for your interior. This trend is all about introducing tranquil tones, adding waves of subtle colour and luxury textures to your home.”
– The Horizon Trend
To me, this trend can be achieved by introducing pieces to your home that are inspired by nature.
I have a small wall next to my back door that leads out to our patio, which was in need of a little pick me up, so I thought this was the perfect place to introduce this trend.
These feather prints from Graham & Brown caught my eye and worked perfectly to fill this tall, narrow space. Adding in a palm tree, wicker basket and textured rug gave this little nook even more interest, and added to the nature inspired theme.
If you want even more bold & daring ideas to bring the horizon trend into your home, Graham & Brown has some amazing wallpapers to help do the trick, like these nature inspired motifs.
Ushi Gray // Honolulu Palm Green // Mirage Gray // Verdant Taupe
They even have printed & textured papers that emulate natural brick, stone and wood.
Ledgestone // New Brick Gray // Brick Paintable // Sahara Natural
How would you bring the Horizon trend into your home?!
