There’s been a new face around here that’s been helping me out behind the scenes. Meet my new assistant, Ashlyn! In addition to sourcing the perfect finishing touches for your project,as well as putting together some fabulous inspiration boards and e-designs, you can find her helping out with all thing related to the blog and social media.

With the holidays quickly approaching, we thought it would be fun to put together a few of our favourite things in case you needed some last minute gift ideas. Below you will find some things we will be giving (or hoping to find underneath our tree…hint hint!)

5. The Wilfred Ganna Scarf is on my wish list this year, and the colours are so dreamy together!

6. Amazon has great affordable gold earrings that don’t tarnish! I wear these hoops every single day.

7. The Birkenstock Bostons are a NEED, not a want, on my wish list! I have a similar pair, and I wear them daily.

8. If you are like me and hate carrying a purse, crossbody bags are the best. This lululemon one goes with everything and has so much room!

9. Gifting cook books that also double as great shelf decor, is a win win. Magnolia always has the best books for decorating and Joanna Gaines has really good recipes!

1. One of the prettiest (and most practical) candle accessories…the wick trimmer! These make great gifts to give alongside with your favorite candles. (See #10!)

2. I love crinkly, gauzy blankets and this fleece lined one from Pokoloko is perfect for curling up on the couch with.

3. I pretty much live in cozy sweats most of the time, and I’ve had my eye on this set from TenTree! I love the colour, and you can feel good about your gift giving as Ten Tree will plant 10 trees for every purchase made!

4. I love to read, and this latest book by one of my favourite authors had me captivated from start to finish.

5. I love gifts that promote self care, and these bath salts from Saje are simply divine.

6. I love everything from Eminence Organics skin care, especially their masques! If you have oily skin like me, your skin will look and feel amazing after using this mud treatment.

7. I love gifts made with intention and this clear quartz pendant not only helps keep your energy clear, it will also buy a meal for someone in need with every purchase.

8. Always on the hunt for the perfect brown crossbody bag, this one from Roots is the perfect size and shade of brown!

9. The perfect gift to keep your feet cozy and warm all winter, these made in Canada moccasins from Manitobah Mukluks are my favorite. This global brand also works with Indigenous artists to support and preserve their craft.

10. The perfect accompaniment to #1, these travel candles from Aija candle studio are hand poured with organic soy wax and scented with essential oils, perfect for those with sensitive noses! And did I mention they all smell fantastic?!
