3 Tips to create an organized entryway
Nothing makes busy mornings a little less hectic than an organized mud room. I love designing these spaces for busy families, and they are one of the highest requested spaces to include in large renovations. If you don’t currently have a mudroom but DO have a small entryway space you want to add more functional organization to, here's a few tips!
1️⃣ Add hooks. Whether they are wall mounted or in the form of a coat tree, hooks provide a place to hang backpacks and coats.
2️⃣ Add baskets to hide all of those little items like sunglasses, keys and gum that you need to grab quick on your way out the door.
3️⃣ Create a seating area. It doesn't have to be a built-in bench...a chair or ottoman works perfectly for somewhere to sit down and put on your shoes.
